The retreat is designed to challenge you but work to your fitness level. The aim and focus is to help you become healthier and improve your performance, whatever your fitness goal is!
Participants need have a positive attitude, a desire to explore new environments and challenge themselves – all in the company of encouraging and like-minded people.
Fitness Level?
In order for you to get the most out of your week with us, we ask that you have a reasonable fitness level before attending. We expect that running on mountain trails may be new to you and before you travel we will be helping you prepare for the week via a series of focussed training plans.
The retreat weeks include hill training, group fitness classes, yoga, pilates and mountain trails, with an opportunity to run across the border into both Italy and Switzerland. However there will be time to visit local landmarks too, such as the highest cable car in France, which takes you up to 3842m to the Aiguille de Midi and a chance to wander the quaint streets of Courmayeur, Italy. Back at base, you can relax after a busy day and make the most of the jacuzzis, take a dip in the pool or visit the onsite Sauna and Hammam.
The staff are the best in their field, with highly qualified, local mountain guides, leaders and fitness trainers.

I joined as part of a 6 week campaign not only to get fitter but change my perception on food and exercise. I attended both outdoor and online sessions during the 6 weeks and have noticed vast improvement. I look forward to the classes, not only for a good workout but for the social aspect as the trainers and rest of the participants are all really friendly and welcoming. Although no exact weight measurements, my 5km running time has improved by over 4 minutes, and I’ve lost 2 inches from my stomach.
