UK Outdoor Fitness runs outdoor boot camps and fitness classes in Leeds, Bradford and York. (see class times & venues). There are many excellent gyms out there; David Lloyd, Virgin Active, JD Sports, Pure Gym, The Gym, but nothing beats the great outdoors. We have a professional and skilful group of fitness trainers who pride themselves in helping your health and well-being whilst offering some of the best classes around. The groups are community orientated whilst working to your levels of fitness; Beginner to advanced. Each session can vary and include some of the following: cardio, boxing* Kettlebells, ViPR’S, Bodyweight, AMRAPS, Circuits & Resistance Exercises. (We pride ourselves on the fact that sessions are fun, different and push you to your limits).
A typical class will also include various traditional cardio moves such as star jumps, squat thrusts, spotty dogs or burpees, as well as functional body-weight exercises e.g., squats, lunges, press ups, ab crunches, and the plank.
Our classes are great for your fitness, weight loss, general health, mental health, well-being and achieving the results you are looking for; short and long term.
Do you go to Slimmers World or Weight Watchers? Our classes compliment these groups very well giving you all the fitness element that is so important to feel better
We always ensure sessions are fun and varied, including team games, races, pair work, power walking, jogging and sprinting (depending on your fitness level), cardio & resistance exercises that will work all the major muscle groups – ensuring maximum calorie burning both during & after your work out.
To keep you on your toes we add different types of fun exercise drills with some sessions that will include equipment such as boxing pads/gloves, Kettlebells, TRX, ViPR, speed ladders (don’t worry if you don’t know what these are) to add a new dimension and fun to your training.
Many of you may think “I’m not fit enough to do a bootcamp”. Well don’t worry as we cater for all fitness levels! You will not be asked to do anything you aren’t capable of. For example we recognise that many people struggle with running so we only ever run very short distances & you will always be given the option of power-walking instead.
Remember whatever your fitness level – absolute beginner to super fitness fanatic, we will push you to the next level to reach your goals.

I have been taking part in UK Outdoor Fitness bootcamps for almost 10 years now.
What has kept me going back all this time is the enthusiasm of the instructors, the banter with other members and the flexibility within the sessions to push myself as hard as I want to or be a little less energetic depending on what sort of mood I’m in.
They are definitely not military style bootcamps and offer something for people of all abilities. I also find that doing exercise outdoors in the fresh air in local parks is much more fun that sweating away in a gym.
I would certainly recommend UK Outdoor Fitness to anyone looking to get fit and
have fun at the same time!

I joined as part of a 6 week campaign not only to get fitter but change my perception on food and exercise. I attended both outdoor and online sessions during the 6 weeks and have noticed vast improvement. I look forward to the classes, not only for a good workout but for the social aspect as the trainers and rest of the participants are all really friendly and welcoming. Although no exact weight measurements, my 5km running time has improved by over 4 minutes, and I’ve lost 2 inches from my stomach.
