Mindset coaching with JK Change Work (Full details coming soon)

A bit about JK Change Work – JK is a therapeutic coach who helps people change their mindset about issues that hold them back in life. It’s not about talking over problems. Coaching is an efficient and focused approach to creating change. A facilitated space that helps the client:

  • • Identify the problem
  • • Establish the desired outcome
  • • Explore what stops them currently.
  • • Changing Mindset – transforming the way they think/feel/do
  • • Experiencing the change (outcome)

Much of the coaching she does is delivered outside in nature. Evidence supports the fact that our brain benefits from connection with outdoor space. This enhances the coaching session creating a natural physiological shift for the client. Reducing stress, enhancing serotonin, dopamine and endorphins that support creative, curious and open mindsets helping the process of change, boosting mood and benefiting physical health as we walk and talk. People who spend time outdoors are also evidenced to have enhanced problem solving skills and maintain focus and motivation, ideal for creating change.

Further details of JK and her services will come soon

We have been members of UK Outdoor Fitness since June 2019 and joined when we saw a group of individuals enjoying a bootcamp session on the moor at Drighlington. Since then bootcamps have become a big part of our lives as we attend three times a week. Paul runs an amazing team of trainers and keeps motivation levels high. Even during lockdowns, he continues to offer online sessions and keeps in regular contact with members.  We know we can rely on Paul and his team to be there for support when needed. Our bootcamps mean a lot to us, such a great group of people.

I have been taking part in UK Outdoor Fitness bootcamps for almost 10 years now.
What has kept me going back all this time is the enthusiasm of the instructors, the banter with other members and the flexibility within the sessions to push myself as hard as I want to or be a little less energetic depending on what sort of mood I’m in.

They are definitely not military style bootcamps and offer something for people of all abilities. I also find that doing exercise outdoors in the fresh air in local parks is much more fun that sweating away in a gym.

I would certainly recommend UK Outdoor Fitness to anyone looking to get fit and
have fun at the same time!

Thank you for the past 10 years, and I’m looking forward to the next 10!
