6th June Total Warrior Training

With Total Warrior coming we will helping you train up for the event. This is a normal bootcamp still session but bringing lots exercises to help you with the race and brilliant for everyone to attend.

17th June - York Races

We are going to the Clocktower Enclosure (grass side). Gates open 11.15 but first race is not until 2pm, last race 17.15. Still time for bootcamp first!
Entrance fee is £12 (pay on the day). Take a picnic, chairs/blankets, own alcohol. Please note glass is not allowed. Let either Clare Davies or Lizzy Davies (no relation!) know if you plan to come just so we can keep an eye out for you. We will sort logistics nearer the time. 1st July

Total Warrior. For the last 10 years we have entered teams and again this year we will have 70 plus members from all the park taking part in different heats. We also have lots of junior racing later in the day showing their parents how to do this. We still have spaces (But limited for the Saturday10.00am heat. We will also be running in the same T Shirt Vest which we have Sponsors for including UK Outdoor Fitness. This is a family day out, brilliant race and atmosphere. Definitely one of the highlights of the year

6th August

York 10k - May of our bootcampers are keen runners so we will hopefully see lots of members running the race. This is a brilliant 10k with an excellent route and support. The race starts just where we do bootcamp at the Knavesmire.

We have been members of UK Outdoor Fitness since June 2019 and joined when we saw a group of individuals enjoying a bootcamp session on the moor at Drighlington. Since then bootcamps have become a big part of our lives as we attend three times a week. Paul runs an amazing team of trainers and keeps motivation levels high. Even during lockdowns, he continues to offer online sessions and keeps in regular contact with members.  We know we can rely on Paul and his team to be there for support when needed. Our bootcamps mean a lot to us, such a great group of people.

I can’t recommend UK Outdoor Fitness enough! It’s been a big part of my life over the past few years, both for fitness (…. you should see my glutes now) and the social side. For me, being outside is really important and it’s been a great opportunity to break up the monotony of the gym! I’ve also met some lovely folk with Paul and the team providing a supportive and social environment that allows you to push yourself and get the best out of your time and training. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending joining! Enjoy!!
